Finn looked enthused about that, smiling excitedly at the prospect of a race with his two favorite brothers. It had been a long time since the three of them has gotten to spend this kind of time together...it really was lifting the gloomy haze off of his day. Even Jermaine was smiling.

"Alright, you guys ready...to lose?" Finn mimics Jake's stretches, readying himself, holding back a conspiratorial grin. "Three...twooooo......ooooooooone..."

He milks the long pause, crouching lower... "GO!"

The word was barely finished and he was off running, tilting into a sprint, kicking up sand and not even looking back.
