It was cool. And new, too. Their relationship had never been one defined by closeness the way Jake and Finn's had been. Lately, it felt like that might be changing. Unlike some of the other changes aging brought him, this was one Jake was actually pretty grateful for.

Not least of which because he didn't have to face what Finn was going through alone.
