Turning his head back to face front, Jake pauses at the sight of the sun starting to rise over the Ice Kingdom mountains in the distance. It would be fully morning when they arrived home -- not ideal -- but home was certainly close now. That was something to look forward to. It also served as a reminder.

They wouldn't have much more time like this; the two of them alone, in the dark. Vulnerable. Jake clears his throat.
