It was hard to imagine that there were any other alternatives to how things were; him and Jake at the treehouse, Jermaine taking care of their dad's occult treasures. It was hard to imagine that his life didn't just happen, but that there was a series of decisions that had to be made, by his parents and by his adult brothers, all while he was still basically a baby. It was one of those sticky little reminders for Finn of how much distance time had put between him brothers.
